Background Building Activities
Activity 1:
In this assignment you are to create the Spa page for the Striped Umbrella website that will replace the placeholder Spa page. Step by step instructions with explanations can be found in your training manual on pages Dreamweaver 74 through Dreamweaver 93. You will be importing the content for this file from a Word document that can be found under Module 7 on the Student Resources page or in your Dreamweaver student file folder. You will also create, apply, and edit cascading style sheets. Four cascading style sheet videos are available to assist you: Creating a CSS, Applying and Editing a CSS, Creating a Second CSS, and Attaching a CSS. Please do not hesitate to email your mentor with the Subject Line "Request for Help" if you have any problems or questions in creating this page. After you have tested your page and compared it to Figure D-27 on page 93, find this assignment in your Google Classroom and select MARK AS DONE. Your mentor will preview the page and provide feedback.

In this assignment you are to create the Tips page for Blooms and Bulbs. Step by step instructions can be found in your training manual on pages Dreamweaver 96 through Dreamweaver 97. You will be importing the content for the file from a Word document that can be found under Module 7 on the Student Resources page or in your Dreamweaver student file folder. When you are finished, test your links and compare your Tips page to Figure D-29 found on page 97. You can also use the Skills Review checklist found under Module 7 on the Student Resource page. When you are finished, find this assignment in your Google Classroom and select MARK AS DONE. Your mentor will preview the page and provide feedback. If you need assistance email your mentor using the Subject Line "Request for Help."
